Our Team
Frances Sunseri, Portland Dentist
Dr. Frances Sunseri, Portland dentist, provides Portland Family Dentistry, Portland Cosmetic Dentistry, Portland General Dentistry and also has a Portland Implant Dentist in her office to serve patient needs. She is a native Oregonian and received her dental doctorate degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1988.
Dr. Sunseri strives to make your visit both relaxing and enjoyable, providing a gentle personalized touch in a boutique-style Portland dental clinic location. She is a recognized Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned by fewer than 5% of all dentists.
Dr. Sunseri resides in Happy Valley with her husband, Michael Schaufler. They have one daughter.
Susan, Dental Assistant
Susan has worked with Dr. Sunseri since 1993. She graduated from Portland Community College with a dental assisting associates degree with high honors in 1993. Susan grew up in Milwaukie, now lives in Canby with her two sons. She is an avid cyclist and participates in many bike races.
Judy, Scheduling Coordinator
We welcome Judy to our practice. She has many years experience as a receptionist and scheduling coordinator. She and her husband, Jeff live near Mt. Hood.
Viengchith "V", Dental Hygienist
Viengchith is our lead hygienist. She had been with us since 2006. She graduated from Dental Hygiene school in Minnesota in 2006. She is married and has a beautiful new baby girl.
Traeca, Dental Assistant
Traeca has 12 years of experience as a dental assistant. She most recently worked in an oral surgery office for 6 years. Traeca has two children and lives in Vancouver.
Mary Lynn, Office Manager
Mary Lynn is a native Portlander. She and Dr. Sunseri were classmates at St. Mary's Academy. She graduated from Portland Community College with an associate degree in Dental Assisting in 1975. She worked as an assistant for a couple years, then became a stay at home mom after the birth of her second child. She has been married to Steve since 1975.
Mary Lynn is a whiz at her job. She manages the office and is very knowlegeable and helpful with any questions you may have regarding dental insurance benefits. She has been at Sunseri Dental for over four years.
Yian, Huddleston
Welcome our newest hygienist, Yian. She grew up in Parkrose and was a dental assistant for nine years before graduating from Pacific University in 2008. She has been with us since October.
